How to Speed Up Mac performance - Some useful tips

Here are some Mac speed Up tips to speed up both startup and overall performance.

Tip 1. The Mac users are aways suggested to rebuild their desktop atleast monthly. It can be done by holding down the Command and Option keys at the time of restart. Don't release the keys until the computer asks to rebuild the desktop. Click OK.
Tip 2. Remove the fonts which are never being used. (Open the Fonts folder in the System Folder and drag the fonts out.)
Tip 3. Open the Extensions Manager control panel and turn off system extensions you don't need. For example, if you're not on a computer network and don't have a printer, you can turn off printer drivers and file-sharing extensions.
If a user wants to perform these operations mannualy , then its fine, else go for a mac utility software to speed up your Mac.
